Training

DID YOU KNOW ???

In British Columbia, before a young worker or new worker begins work a new regulation requires that they must be given an orientation and health and safety training specific to the workplace and the task, and it must include;
  • The name and contact information for the young or new worker's supervisor;
  • the employer's and young or new worker's rights and responsibilities including the reporting of unsafe conditions and the right to refuse to perform unsafe work;
  • the health and safety rules;
  • the hazards that the young or new worker may be exposed to, including risks from robbery, assault or confrontation;
  • working alone or in isolation;
  • violence in the workplace;
  • personal protective equipment;
  • the location of first aid facilities and how to summon first aid report illnesses and injuries;
  • the emergency procedures;
  • instruction and demonstration of the young or new worker's work task or work process;
  • the health and safety program
  • WHMIS requirements
  • contact information for the health and safety committee or the worker safety representative

Randy can develop an innovative cost effective program to meet the new requirements for your workplace.

EXPERIENCED

With more than 20 years of training experience Randy's doesn't just present "canned" safety training programs. He delivers cost effective programs with impacting messages.  Randy's passion for training goes beyond just providing the information and developing customized packages. Randy stays current by taking training courses himself and attended several safety training sessions during the last year. He is a qualified by North Safety Products as a Fall Arrest Soft Goods (harness, lanyard etc,) Inspector, Respiratory Protection Trainer and a Fit Tester.
